Spot Guide & Local Knowledge

Rewa Cypel (Szperk), situated in the Bay of Puck just 15 kilometers north of Gdynia, is one of the world's most extraordinary natural sandbar spots. A narrow, natural sandy spit (Cypel Rewski) extends for nearly one kilometer directly out into the sea, dividing the water into two distinct arenas.

The 360-degree all-wind miracle

Because the sand spit projects into the bay, it works on literally ANY wind direction. Whichever way the wind blows, one side of the spit is always perfectly offshore and sheltered, producing a dead-flat mirror of water where riders can carve at full speed right next to the sandbank. Meanwhile, the windward side offers choppy water and small kickers.

The underwater causeway (Rybitwia Mielizna)

Remarkably, the sand spit continues underwater as a shallow sandbank all the way across the Bay of Puck to Kuźnica on the Hel Peninsula. Every year, adventurous kiters and hikers participate in the famous 'Marsz Śledzia' (Herring March), walking across the shallow bay along this natural sandbar.

Convenience and community

Rewa is easily accessible from the Tricity metropolitan area (Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia). The charming fishing village features watersports schools, beachside taverns serving fresh Baltic flounder, and a relaxed, welcoming vibe.
